Mark Thirman is the founder/CEO of AirPrint Networks, an early stage company building mCommerce and mobile marketing solutions to exploit a missing element in mobile eCommerce market: the ability to document transactions. Mark has over twenty-four years of experience in executive, business development, and sales roles gathered in a broad range of telephony, infrastructure, networking, and computer companies.
Mark's prior positions include executive roles in business and market development at IP telephony pioneer Pingtel Corp., GTE Internetworking, VideoServer, VTEL and PictureTel where he was instrumental in founding their desktop video group and helped lead them into the desktop video marketplace, achieving dominant market share over Intel and others. He has also held positions at Lotus Development and AST Research.
Mark is the founding director/chairman for AccesSportAmerica, a national non-profit that adapts and teaches high-challenge sports to children and adults with disabilities. He has completed eleven Boston Marathons. Mark studied piano performance at Michigan State University and the Berklee College of Music.
